Storing Documents
Manually managing safeguarding checks and documentscan be time-consuming and open to error. Keeping track of the right documents for each individual, especially when using spreadsheets and separate file systems, can lead to disorganisation, loss of information, and outdated records. This can hinder your ability to provide accurate information to clients or regulators.
Our dedicated safeguarding platform saves you time and money but most importantly gives you peace of mind your teams records are correct and up to date. Click here to find out more
Storing Documents
A dedicated safeguarding platform can streamline this process, saving you time and money. More importantly, it ensures that your team's records are accurate and up-to-date, giving you peace of mind.
If your current HR system isn't equipped to handle all your safeguarding needs, a specialised software solution can help. Our bespoke safeguarding platform can alleviate the burden of increasing record-keeping requirements, providing you with a comprehensive and efficient system.
Alerts and Reminders
Manually creating reminders or periodic reviewing all your teams’ safeguarding credentials creates a significant risk of records becoming out of date. This risks non-compliance, not meeting guideline standards set by governing bodies or, at worst, an incident occurring. For example, a DBS becoming over 3 years old, which is over the recommended limit for most guidelines.
With updates required infrequently and other priorities taking over, it’s very easy for checks to be overlooked. The adoption of our automated system for managing safeguarding credentials addresses the inherent risks associated with manual processes. By providing consistent, customisable, and error-resistant tracking, we enhance an organisation's ability to maintain compliance, ensure safety, and efficiently manage resources
Alerts and Reminders
Keeping records up to date is a vital part of safeguarding and automating your alerts is a great way to ensure you aren't missing any or forgetting to check they're up to date.
Evidencing Safeguarding
Providing evidence of safeguarding to clients, regulators, or funding bodies can be a time-consuming task. Ensuring that individual records and documented procedures are up-to-date and compliant requires significant effort. Additionally, effectively communicating your organisation's safeguarding practices to parents or guardians is crucial.
Our centralised record system can streamline this process, allowing you to easily share or export group reports and individual profiles at the click of a button. This can also empower your team to demonstrate to parents and guardians that they have been fully vetted and their checks are up-to-date.

Effective communication with parents and guardians is crucial. By clearly explaining the organisation's commitment to safeguarding and the specific measures implemented to protect their children, you can foster trust and transparency. Additionally, utilising a platform to easily share evidence of safeguarding practices, such as staff credentials, policies, and procedures, can further enhance parental confidence and demonstrate a proactive approach to child protection.
Evidencing Safeguarding
Even if you're not explicitly required to provide evidence of safeguarding, it's still beneficial to showcase your commitment to protecting those in your care. This can build trust with parents and clients, and even differentiate your organisation from competitors. Moreover, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records is essential for incident reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Our system automates the process of completing and recording necessary checks, ensuring that all information is readily available for sharing. By simplifying these tasks, we help you prioritise safeguarding and focus on delivering high-quality care.

Utilising a platform to track and manage staff qualifications allows you to easily monitor compliance and plan schedules effectively.

By ensuring that all staff members have essential training, such as first aid, you can be confident that your organisation has the ability to respond to emergencies at all times. Additionally, requiring DBS checks for all staff who interact with vulnerable individuals, even if not strictly mandated, can enhance safety and provide peace of mind.

Our platform can help you record and track these qualifications, enabling you to identify any skill gaps and take proactive steps to address them.

Correct Checks
It's great you're on top of this. It can be one of the most complex and least understood areas of safeguarding because of all the different rules based on settings and levels of involvement or contact an individual could have with those in their care.
If you are unsure of anything we have experts on hand you can ask any question by posting in our LinkedIn Group.
Correct Checks
There is a lot of ambiguity of what safeguarding checks are required so you're not alone if you find it confusing. With different rules for different settings as well as the different roles and level of involvement or contact someone might have you literally need to be a safeguarding expert to know them all.
That's where we can help, our system walks you through all the relevant checks for you. Alternatively, safeguarding consultants are a great way to help ensure you have the correct processes in place for vetting your team as well as all other processes and policies.
Designated Safeguarding Lead
It's great you've got DSL or a safeguarding lead. This is a very important role but it's important to remember it doesn't mean everything hangs on their shoulders. They need to be supported and have the commitment of the wider team around them to fully ensure those in your care are safe. They coordinate training, do vetting checks, provide advice (or take the action to get expert advice) but it doesn't just have to be them. Their role is to help bring everyone up to the same standard so your organisation has a great culture of openness and knowledge of safeguarding practices. Done well, everyone will be holding each other to account to deliver a safer environment.
Our consultant partners are always there to help any safeguarding lead within their organisation and we also have a free LinkedIn group where any questions can be asked.
